So many businesses failed to survive the first two years of the pandemic because they lacked the funding to keep their doors open.

Our own business development services took a major hit simply because many of our clients could no longer afford our work. To survive, Oxford Pierpont introduced financial services in 2020, and that decision not only saved our company, but grew it exponentially.

Now it is time for us to share the wealth and give back to the companies who need help the most – small businesses. This year, we are going to give a single small business a cash prize of $10,000 so that they can survive and thrive in these challenging times.

What Are The Rules?

We are doing this for existing businesses only, and there are a few rules that you need to know.

Qualifying is super easy. Here are the basic requirements:

  • You must have a verifiable business or startup.
  • After applying, you must have a business profile on our website (more on that later).
  • Your business profile must have a minimum of 250 nominations (more on that later too).
  • The registration period will end on March 15, 2022.

*All applications are independently reviewed for compliance with these requirements.

How Is The Winner Chosen?

The winning business will be determined by a publicly streamed lottery-style drawing from a pool of 100 finalists.

Our contests finalists will be...

  • Chosen from the 100 businesses with the most nominations on their business profile.
  • Interviewed individually and asked how they would use the money to grow their business.
  • Reviewed for a positive online reputation and customer service history.*
  • Publically listed on our website and notified that they are finalists 7 days before the drawing.
  • After the drawing, the winner will be given just 24 hours to contact us, after which time another drawing will occur, and an alternate winner will be chosen.

*A business with an unreasonably negative reputation will be disqualified.

Your business profile allows you to create a fully functional mini-website that presents all of your vital business information, as well as products, services, photos, and videos. Your business profile even features a contact form so that you can generate leads for your business!

What Is A Business Profile, And How Do Nominations Work?

We expect that approximately 5,000 businesses will apply to win our $10k Giveaway, and we want to give those businesses the chance to increase their odds of winning the contest.

The nomination process is our way of leveling the playing field by giving business owners an opportunity to get their businesses nominated by the public.

To do this, business owners will create a Business Profile on our website, and they can easily share their profile with others to gain nominations.

A minimum of 250 nominations are required to qualify for the final drawing.

What Is A Business Profile?

Similar to other social media platforms, a Business Profile showcases your business and provides critical information about who you are as a company. 

Most importantly, your Business Profile can be shared easily so that people can nominate you for the cash prize!

  • You can upload images like logos, product photos, ads, and anything else that you think will showcase your business.
  • You can add a short bio to your profile so people know what you do.
  • You can list products and services on your profile, and you can even include pricing if you wish.
  • Your profile will also include your contact info, website, and social media links so that people can interact with your business later.
  • Your profile will include a contact form so that potential customers can contact you directly, if needed.

How Do Nominations Work?

Share your Business Profile, and ask people to Nominate Your Business. That’s all!

  • Share your business profile with your network, and ask them to nominate your business.
  • People will only be able to vote for your business once.
  • The quantity of nominations your business has received will not be shared publicly.
  • Gain at least 250 nominations to qualify as a finalist.

How Do I Apply?

The application process is pretty easy. First, we recommend that you read the rules, terms, and conditions of the contest.

Next, you’ll want to fill out the registration form below so that we can verify your business information later, if you become a finalist.

Finally, after submitting the application, you will be taken over to the Oxford Pierpont Professional site, where you can build your business profile.
